Product description
The H05RR-F is a flexible multi-core cable with rubber insulation and jacket, designed for environments with low mechanical stress. It is intended for the connection of household appliances, office equipment and light tools (such as vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, portable lamps, etc.). Its nominal voltage is 300/500V, complies with harmonized European standards (certification HAR). Offering both flexibility and durability, it can be used in dry environments, wet or outdoors, for temporary applications. The EPR rubber material gives it excellent resistance to weather and wear, making it a versatile power connection solution for homes, cuisines, offices and other similar environments.

Cable H05RR-F : Shielding Options and Applications
1. Standard design of H05RR-F
No shielding by default : The classic version of the H05RR-F (ex. : H05RR-F 3×1.5mm²) does not have a shielding layer. Its structure consists only of conductors + isolation an EPR + neoprene sheath, according to EN standard 50525-2-21.
For what ? : H05RR-F is mainly used in industrial machinery and temporary power supplies, where protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) is generally not necessary.
2. Custom shielding options
Addition of possible shielding :
- Braided shield : A tinned copper braid is added around the insulation (coverage rate ≥ 80 %), ensuring attenuation up to 60 dB to 1 MHz.
- Suitable applications : Power supply of precision instruments and high frequency equipment (ex. : machines CNC, medical devices).
Model identification : Armored versions are usually marked H05RR-F-S (the “S” meaning “Shielded”). It is important to clarify this requirement with the supplier.
