Points to note
1) Each module factory uses different brands of PV connectors, when extending the cable, be careful not to connect connectors of different brands to each other.
2) If it is not possible to use the usual tools to lock the PV connector, other tools should be used, without damaging the structure of the connector itself.
3) Different brands of photovoltaic connectors and metal PINs do not mix, in addition to specifications that do not match the size of the metal impedance, the number of times it can be plugged and unplugged is not the same.
4) And, during the construction or inspection process, you find that the metal PIN pin has green white spots and other situations, you can use repeated insertion and removal of surface rust, oxidation of the scraping part, but it is recommended to replace the connector.
(Repeatedly plugging and unplugging the connectors will cause the PIN pins to loosen, which will affect the impedance and efficiency of power generation).
5) If moisture enters the circuit and causes a decrease in wire resistance, the inverter goes into ground fault and the system shuts down. If the weather is dry, the inverter starts producing energy again if it detects a normal situation.
6) When choosing PV connectors, Care should be taken to ensure that the outer diameter of the cable matches the connector specifications, otherwise it is impossible to obtain the best degree of IP protection.

Structure

1. Connector body : The connector body is usually made of engineering plastic high temperature resistant and having good weather resistance performance, with good insulation and anti-UV capacity. The connector body is generally rectangular in shape for ease of installation and wiring.
2. Brooches : The pins are part of the connector and are used to be inserted into sockets to make an electrical connection. Pins are usually made of copper, with excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance performance. Pin shape and size are designed to match sockets, thus ensuring a reliable connection.
3. Taken : Plugs are another part of the connector, used to receive the pins and make an electrical connection with them. Sockets are usually made of copper, with silver surface to improve electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance ability. The internal design of the sockets is rational to ensure close contact with the pins, thereby reducing contact resistance.
Principle of operation
Photovoltaic connectors make an electrical connection by inserting and removing pins from sockets. Before being inserted into sockets, there is some space between the connector body and the pins. When the pins are inserted into the sockets, The springy action of the connector body allows close contact between sockets and pins, thus ensuring the transfer of current.
This connector is designed with waterproof and dustproof ; it has a sealing structure between the connector body and the pins/sockets, which effectively prevents the entry of water and dust inside the connector, thus guaranteeing its reliability and stability.
