Steel Reinforced XLPE Copper Power Cable (the cu/Sxepe/SpvVcc.)
The Steel Reinforced XLPE Copper Power Cable (the cu/Sxepe/SpvVcc.) is an electrical power cable designed for underground installations, industrial and energy distribution. It combines a high conductivity copper core, cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE) and armor made of galvanized steel wire, offering excellent mechanical resistance and great reliability in demanding environments. International equivalent of YJV32 cable, this model complies with BS standards 5467 and IEC 60502-1, ensuring stable performance and long service life.
ZMS Cable supplies high quality CU/XLPE/SWA/PVC cables, fully customizable according to the technical and environmental needs of each project.
Cable structure CU/XLPE/SWA/PVC
in câble cu/swa/pvvc, equivalent of armored cable YJV32, consists of several technical layers ensuring both electrical performance, mechanical resistance and lasting protection against external attacks.
| Cable element | Main material | Function and description |
| Driver | Copper receipt | Ensures excellent electrical conductivity and low resistance. Available in single-strand or multi-strand version depending on the section. |
| Isolation | XLPE | Offers high thermal resistance (until 90 °C) and excellent dielectric strength. Enables long-term reliable operation. |
| Inner sheath | PVC I or | Protects insulation and holds conductors in place. Also serves as an internal mechanical barrier. |
| Armor | Galvanized steel son (SWA – Steel Wire Armour) | Provides high mechanical protection against external shocks and pressures. Suitable for direct installation in trenches. |
| Outer sheath | nursing PVC (or LSZH on request) | Protects against humidity, chemicals and corrosion. High resistance to abrasion and UV rays. |
